This dining table is as innovative as it is convenient.  In the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement --where form is inspired by function -- the table leaves store directly beneath the top when not in use and are exposed beautifully out the sides.  They then lift easily into place when needed.  Because there are four twelve-inch wide leaves (to be used in pairs), the table can be easily set to lengths of eight, ten, or twelve feet.  And the tightly crafted series of hand-made dovetailed rails ensures smooth operation and a very flat top, even when the table is fully extended.
