I get to be two things at once -- artist and craftsman -- and I love being both.  I am just as happy rubbing elbows at a gallery opening as I am rubbing out a finish on a new, handmade dining room table, while covered from head to toe in sawdust.  At either end of that spectrum, and at all points in between, I feel like the luckiest guy on earth.

I started making custom furniture in 1994, and it pleases me to say that I think I’m now quite good at it.  As a designer I’ve evolved from imitating my heroes to finding my own voice, and as a craftsman I’ve grown from hoping I can get it right to knowing and insisting that it will be.  Everything I make is exceptionally strong and solid, crafted to absolute precision, and thus guaranteed for life.
