The aesthetics of the first generation Morris Chair have been revised by adding slightly curved arms and lower rails, as well as wider legs and side slats. The effect is a hand made chair that looks more natural and alive. This chair is exceedingly comfortable, and as such it presents a traditional, very elegant alternative to the modern recliner.
In the chair pictured, notice the amazingly luminescent birdseye maple in the slats, as well as the deep, rich curly cherry wood used for the legs and horizontal parts.
